Our Impact
At Pacific Blueprint, we believe the challenges that the Ni-Vanuatu people face can be overcome through collaborative partnerships and community focused initiatives such as those set out below. With support from organisations like yours, we can collectively build a brighter, more sustainable future for the people of Vanuatu.
Every child has the right to go to school and learn. Literacy and numeracy skills are vital for learning growth and active participation in society. The quality of educational facilities, especially for girls and students with disabilities, is well below standard. Education is also not free in Vanuatu which is a considerable barrier to learning for children.
Opportunities to Help
We can provide improved school infrastructure through financial contributions to new/renovated classrooms, installation of rain water tanks, and construction of libraries. There is also a significant need for donations of children’s readers and financial support for school fees.
A donation of $500 can pay school fees for one child for a year.
EDUCATION
Access to safe, clean water for drinking and cooking is critical to staying healthy. Where people don’t have access to safe drinking water, the risk of preventable illness severely increases. A third of children in the Pacific do not have access to good sanitation, and one in ten do not have access to safe drinking water.
Opportunities to Help
We can support communities and schools to access safe, clean drinking water through the purchase, distribution and installation of water filters. Your team can also assist in the installation of filters in local communities.
A donation of $750 can supply water filters to provide clean drinking water for ten families for ten years.
WATER & SANITATION
The Pacific is facing a series of health challenges. The increasing burden of non-communicable diseases, both with respect to the risk of premature mortality and health care costs, is the dominant health issue in the Pacific region.
Less than half, 47%, of children between the ages of 0-4 have received the recommended regimen of immunisation preventing diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus known as DPT3. Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of mortality for women in the Pacific, after heart disease and stroke. About 70% of all such cancer cases are caused by the sexually transmitted human papilloma virus, and can be prevented by a vaccine. Two other common preventable diseases—pneumonia and diarrhea—are responsible for about 3 in 10 deaths of children under the age of 5 in the Pacific islands.
Opportunities to Help
We can provide solar-powered vaccine refrigerators, to health centers, particularly in remote areas of Vanuatu. This will allow health workers to receive, store and deliver life-saving vaccines, no matter the location. We can also raise funds to purchase vaccine’s so they can be given to those in need.

Other Giving Opportunities
There are numerous other ways to assist the people of Vanuatu including donations of clothes and books, and financial donations by either a one off or monthly giving programs. We also cater for larger contributions on a specific project. For example, your workplace could fund the purchase and installation of 1000 water filters or the build of a school classroom. We also have opportunities for major sponsors of Pacific Blueprint. If you would like to discuss any of these opportunities to support the wonderful, resilient people of Vanuatu, please contact us.
